Craig NathansonCraig Nathanson

Dr. Craig Nathanson is is the Program Coordinator for the Human Resource Management Certificate Program at Sonoma State University.  He is an Adjunct Lecturer in the School Of Business and Economics at Sonoma State University, and is an educator, author, speaker and coach for mid-life development.

Dr. Nathanson has been teaching online graduate and undergraduate programs since 2001 at several universities in North America and Europe. In addition, he is a visiting lecturer in Vietnam in partnership with Solvay Brussels School of Economics, Brussels, Belgium. Dr. Nathanson is also an adjunct faculty for the University Of San Francisco, Johnson and Wales University, San Francisco State University and a contributing faculty for the Continuing Education division of Cal State University East Bay.

Angela ClementsAngela Clements

Angela M. Clements is the Principal Attorney and Founder of Clements Employment Law. Angela is a labor and employment attorney focused on serving the needs of culture-first organizations and businesses. Angela also represents individuals who have been treated unfairly at work. She brings over a decade of labor and employment law practice to her law firm, which is woman and LGBT owned.

Clements Employment Law's services include: employment law advice and counseling; workplace investigations and training; and litigation/claims resolution.

Angela’s firm has offices in Santa Rosa, CA and in San Francisco, CA, but serves clients throughout the state. Angela is a Northern California Super Lawyer Rising Star.

Previously, Angela was Senior Counsel at a major San Francisco law firm where she practiced in the Labor & Employment Section. She also previously served as counsel to the Berkeley Law Center on Health, Economic & Family Security, where she developed model legislation for national paid family leave. While attending Berkeley Law, Angela served as a law clerk for the City and County of San Francisco and the National Center for Lesbian Rights. Angela was also a senior policy advocate the Human Rights Campaign in Washington, D.C., where she worked to extend federal civil rights laws to LGBT+ people.

Angela is an active member of the Bar Association of San Francisco, the Sonoma County Bar Association, and the National LGBT Bar Association. Angela is admitted to practice in state and federal court throughout California.

Originally from the Great Plains, Angela maintains a deep love of the outdoors and wild, open space. When she is not practicing law, you can find her hiking a trail or camping with her family in one of the many beautiful spots in California.

Jessica JaureguiJessica Jauregui

Jessica Jauregui  is a dynamic Human Resources leader with over 20 years of accomplished leadership experience in all functional areas of Human Resources. She recently joined Kids Care Dental & Orthodontics as the Vice President, Talent and Culture. Prior to joining KCDO, Jessica was the Chief Human Resources Officer at Santa Rosa Community Health and Jessica provided leadership to a team of seven HR Professionals and strategic partnership to the health center’s senior leadership team. Prior to that, Jessica worked with St. Joseph Health as the Director of Human Resources. In that
role she led a team of 10 HR professionals and all functional areas of human resources including employee and labor relations, organizational development, recruitment and selection, employment and retention, training and development, and employee health services.  She possesses extensive knowledge of labor and employment law, including the NLRA and collective bargaining agreements.  She also brings experience in the wine industry as she started her HR career at Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates. Jessica has a BS in Business Administration from California State University-Chico and a Master's Degree in Human Resources and Organization Development from the University of San Francisco. Jennifer Krug

Jennifer Krug blends compliance and compassion in her HR work. She founded Wine Country HR, an HR consulting business focused on helping small organizations. In March of 2021 she joined the team of talented HR and Accounting consultants at Pacific Crest Group. Jen loves simplicity and effective systems and sharing them with her clients. She honed her strong HR generalist skills, by serving as an HR Department of One, in various industries. She has developed a HR Operations system that helps her clients to make sense of employer obligations, while keeping in mind business objectives and best practices. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University, and HR certificates through Santa Rosa Junior College, and Sonoma State University. She also holds the SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications, and is an Empowering People in the Workplace facilitator.

Victor McKnight

Victor (Vic) McKnight

Vic McKnight is Vice President of InterWest Insurance Services. He joined InterWest in August 2016. Previously, he was a Principal at EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants in their North Bay office. Vic has been in insurance consulting and employee benefit program management for 24 years. As a benefits consultant, he enjoys partnering with HR professionals to create employee benefit programs meet the strategic goals of their organizations. His strategic planning and program design ensure quality, timely and accurate deliverables for developing effective employee benefit communication programs. Vic is a graduate of St. Mary’s College of California in Moraga, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management. He is two time Past President of the North Coast Association of Health Underwriters, an active member of the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Mark West Union School District. A frequent speaker to business groups on healthcare reform and health insurance trends, Vic also regularly contributes his perspective to articles appearing in the North Bay Business Journal and other North Bay publications. 

Scott RhymesScott Rhymes

Scott Rhymes is a highly accredited environmental, health, and safety professional with over 20 years of experience working in the areas of workplace safety, environmental health and insurance risk control. Scott is currently a Senior Risk Control Consultant with ABD Insurance Services where he helps clients identify and minimize industrial hygiene and safety risk management exposures. Scott helps develop and implement health and safety programs for a variety of industries including large technology, transportation, and manufacturing. He conducts initial facility needs assessments, program development, culture improvement workshops and management training. His technical experience includes environmental, health and safety program development, and the development of program metrics to help ensure proper resource allocation. Scott’s registrations and certifications include: Associate Risk Manager; Certified Industrial Hygienist; Certified Safety Professional; Registered Environmental Health Specialist. He also has focused training in OSHA management and supervisor training; 40- Hour OSHA health and safety training; indoor air quality investigation; and industrial and office ergonomics. Scott holds a Bachelors and Master of Science degree in Environmental and Occupational Health from the California State University.

Lorraine Segal, M.A., is a Conflict Management and Communication Consultant, Coach, and Trainer.
