Looking to enhance your career?
Then why not start today?

Have you heard about the WIOA Adult and Dislocated Worker Training Programs?

Workforce services for eligible adults (18 and over) are available through one of the six core programs authorized by Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).

  • The Adult Program serves individuals and helps employers meet their workforce needs. It enables workers to obtain good jobs by providing them with job search assistance and training opportunities.
  • The Dislocated Worker Program is designed to help workers get back to work as quickly as possible and overcome barriers to employment. When individuals become dislocated workers as a result of job loss, mass layoffs, global trade dynamics, or transitions in economic sectors, the Dislocated Worker program provides services to assist them in re-entering the workforce.

Please Note:

  • If approved for the program, the award amount is up to $5,000.00.
  • Counseling appointments are generally booked at least 60 days out from orientation date.
  • We partner with the designated WIOA offices in SSU six service areas, Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino, Lake, Marin and Solano counties.
