Designed for students expecting to enter a SSU academic program (or partner US College/University) after completing our intensive English program through the Sonoma State American Language Institute . Check out the unique SSALI courses that will enhance your English abilities, preparing you to enter a SSU undergraduate or graduate degree program or obtain an English Proficiency Test waiver for Santa Rosa Junior College.
SSALI has a long history of hosting students from our international university partners. ACE provides university partner students the opportunity to study on the SSU campus and to improve their English in core courses, while rounding out their study abroad experience with courses on American culture and in service-learning programs. It may be possible to develop a custom, short term English and culture program.
Experience a fun, interactive way to improve your English with SSU students in a four-part program. Students will see and speak with students live and online! Learn directly from American students that are studying at SSU. Program is designed to give a “real student” view to getting a degree and learn about some of Northern California’s famous attractions, its culture and schools.
Study abroad at SSU for a semester, summer session or an academic year. The SAS program provides the opportunity for international students to study at SSU under the F-1 visa program and take available undergraduate or graduate classes. Students will take courses with SSU students and receive a transcript they can use to apply to their degree program at their home university
